Husband and wife team Dana and Deborah Kitchens, saw a need for better quality within the acoustic building industry. They felt called to fill this gap, and seized the opportunity to raise the bar and deliver a better product, and in 1988, Dana Kitchens & Associates was established.

 

In our humble beginnings, we were blessed with the help of contractor John Rosso from Westfour, Inc. He would give us their work and pay us weekly until, DKA began to make a name for itself, and was moving forward with success.  We gained popularity completely though word of mouth, and in that first year we added general contracting companies, Vance Brown, Inc. and W.L .Butler Construction, to our client list. We are proud to say that we are still working with these companies today.

 

Strong relationships are a priority to us. We pride ourselves in providing a great service to our clients and making sure to keep our employees working. We are a family owned and operated business, and love when we can make those we work with feel like family too.

 

Speaking of family...

We are happy to say that the next generation of the Kitchens family is already on board! After graduating from college, Dana Andrew, Dana and Deborah's son, began his journey with the company in 2002 as an estimator, and eventually earning the role of Vice President.
